"No Home for Xmas"


Created for Round 4 of the 2008 Crestock.com Photoshop challenge, “Apocalyptic Christmas”.


The requirement for this piece was that it must feature at least one of a pre-determined set of stock images. More information can be found here.


This postcard’s concept is that the ornament holds in it a “Christmas time post apocalyptic Chicago.” And that the devastated city’s aura is killing the tree around it. Detail is featured heavily in this piece, specifically inside the ornament.
